The Advent Campaign 2009 is an invitation, media awareness campaign, and Mister Rogers' Sweater Drive brought to you by the Presbyterian Media Mission on behalf of congregations of the Presbyterian Church.

The media awareness/invitation campaign is a special welcome to this season of expectation as we anticipate the Christ child's arrival on Christmas. Feel the heartfelt warmth of God's love at a Presbyterian Church in your community! Don't get trapped in a dark cold world.

It is a cold world with storms and natural disasters, snipers and gunfire, war and terrorism, loneliness and confusion, frustration and fear. The members of your neighborhood Presbyterian church believe that the real reason for this season warms everyone’s hearts to share in God's love.

The cold wind of December moves us inside to warm relationships of hospitality, fellowship, welcome, sweaters for those needing to keep warm, and experiencing the gift of God's love found in Jesus Christ. Christ may be the best gift you give and/or receive!
